Our Cutlery Goes Under The Knife
A few blog posts ago we bestowed upon you, all we know and love about trestle tables! Now it’s china and cutlery. I know I’m sounding a little sarcastic, but I tell you, it’s a challenge to make these things sound exciting.
The fact of the matter is, although it is all very essential, it is not a subject that you can wax lyrical on. Perhaps I should borrow the old M&S strapline with something along the lines of ‘this is not any ordinary knife this is a Fanfare knife’ but sadly without the sexy voiceover it doesn’t really work. …. On any level. And we think it’s much more about how you style your basics. Take a look at our Pinterest board on some stunning place setting inspiration.
The facts are this. Our white plates are white. But they are very high quality white plates. Not village hall (not that there is anything wrong with village hall plates!) not school ones, not camping ones, not plastic ones. Good, clean, white porcelain plates which all your friends and family will eat off very happily and possibly might think ‘now that’s a nice white plate’ …………… on second thoughts probably not! They will be discussing the delicious food or how beautiful the bride looks. The same goes for the our cutlery. It’s good and heavy, proper quality stainless steel and has been given a good polish but not really worthy of much more attention and description than that.
The only really exciting thing to say on the subject is, yes you can send all those white plates, knives and forks back to us DIRTY at no extra cost. No scrubbing, no polishing. We also only charge 20p per plate and 20p for each item of cutlery and no VAT. All you have to do is bung it all back in the boxes it came in and we’ll take it away. Now that’s got to be worth writing about hasn’t it?
