I am always amazed by how brilliant our customers are. The photographs they have kindly shared really reflect the hard work, creativity and effort that goes into transforming a simple space into a beautiful wedding or party venue. There really is no need to spend a fortune. With the help of friends and family and some creativity a wonderful affect can be achieved.
Those of you who are regular readers of our blog will know that Fanfare are champions of the DIY event. They are all the more personal, unique and generate a more communal spirit with everyone helping you to make the wedding or party extra special for you.
Last season the comings and goings of people collecting equipment on behalf of friends and family for a wedding or party was endless. Everything from the conventional white van to horse lorries and cattle trailers. Everyone we met on collection were cheerful and enjoying playing their part in the occasion. I remember a groom and his father describing how thrilled they were to escape the tension brewing at home with pre-wedding nerves. Inevitably we witnessed quite a few bleary-eyed helpers who had been allocated the less popular job of returning the equipment. But without exception everyone was thrilled to have been able to help and I, for one, enjoyed hearing how it all had gone.
